A clean, built-in look when the opening has enough flat depth.

Outside mount

More coverage for shallow openings, uneven frames, or reduced edge light.

Side-by-side planning

Identify neighboring shades before ordering if band alignment matters.

Questions, answered

Before you choose.

Do Zebra Shades provide privacy at night?+

Yes, when the opaque bands overlap completely. Always check the shade from outside after dark because interior lighting and fabric color can affect privacy.

Are Zebra Shades blackout shades?+

No. Room-darkening Zebra fabrics reduce more incoming light, but the layered construction and edge gaps do not create complete blackout. A blackout roller shade is better when near-total darkness is the priority.

Should I choose an inside or outside mount?+

Inside mounts look integrated and keep trim visible, but require enough flat depth. Outside mounts can improve coverage and work well when the opening is shallow or not square.

Can neighboring shades have matching bands?+

Often, but it must be planned before ordering. Tell us which same-height shades will sit side by side so band alignment can be reviewed with the supplier.

How do I clean the fabric?+

Use a feather duster, a clean microfiber cloth, or a vacuum with a soft brush on low suction. Do not soak, scrub, or crease the layered fabric.
